July - Colorado Mission Trip to Pursuit Church in Fort Collins, Colorado

Mission Overview
The city of Fort Collins is located just east of the Rocky Mountain foothills of the Northern Front Range and is approximately an hour north of Denver. With an estimated population of 130,000, it is the fifth most populated city in Colorado and is best known as the home of Colorado State University. The goal of The Pursuit Church is to love and serve the city of Fort Collins in a way that demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ

Community Outreach

Servant leaders who will work with members of The Pursuit Church to canvas the community.

Prayer Needs
Pray that their ministry will be effective and far-reaching.  Please pray for our Colorado mission team as they prepare for their journey that God will equip them with stamina, good health, and safe travel.

Dates

June 11 - Fundraiser at Applebee's for the Colorado mission trip. Contact Steve Deere to get tickets to sell for the event

June 18 - Class wide garage sale in the parking lot of Rochelle Elementary to raise money for the Colorado mission trip.  If you have items that you would like to donate please contact Jim Wineberger

June 20 or 27 - We have an opportunity to have some fun together and raise some money for our class Colorado mission project at the same time.  Scott Self, the owner of The Sea Wolf, has offered to allow us to book a Tuesday night cruise at $30 per person.  Half of all the proceeds would be donated to the Colorado mission fund.  We would be looking at either June 20 or 27.  If you would be interested in doing this with us, please respond and let us know.  We would need a minimum number of couples to make this worthwhile for Mr Self.  We would be looking for at least 30-40 people.  This would be an adult only event.
